Hi. I've lived my life in the Central Illinois region, both in a small city and in rural areas. I was drawn to photography early in life, around 6 years of age by my older brothers 3rd grade teacher who spent an afternoon showing us how to develop black and white photos in her dark room. I've been hooked ever since. I'm better known for my sports photography which supplements my income. My sports photographs have been published internationally in over 40 countries on 6 continents in some of the finest magazines, newspapers, and books. Thanks Sophie. The background is actually comprised of a couple of painted aluminum long neck beer bottles. One from my team and one from my wife's. She was a little upset that in some of the other shots from the series, her teams bottle wasn't presented in the predominate position :)
